I had a vision I wanted to share with you. I was praying this morning and I was declaring many statements God made in the book of Job. I would say for example, Lord you alone are sovereign and I am nothing for where was I when you laid the foundations of the earth, where was I when you told the ocean it can only come so far, where was I when you separated light and dark, where was I when you created atoms and cells, man, his body, where was I when you decided what can weaken our bodies… NOWHERE. While I was praying my eyes were closed. I was taken to a very dark space. I could not see anything. With every declaration it appeared that a small hole would appear in the floor I was kneeling on. The brightest shaft of light would burst from the hole and the beam would shoot a ray of light upward into the heavens. With each declaration the holes increased until there was blinding light and I could neither open my eyes nor stand. I remained on the floor. The words that have been impressed upon me was simply this “I AM”. After the vision ended I was quite shaken and has a great sense of being a very weak and frail human being at the mercy of our very great and powerful God. The Lord took me to Psalm 8 v 1 to 9. “Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory in the heavens
2 Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
5 You have made them a little lower than the angels
and crowned them with glory and honor
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands you put everything under theirg feet
7 all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild,
8 the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
9 Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!”
I feel strongly to share that unless we can come to a place of acknowledgement of God’s sovereignty and dclare our utter dependence upon Him, we have not been circumcised in our hearts and minds. It is time to lay aside all pride, self reliance and any plans you think you have. This is a time to blindly follow God not by sight but by faith. I pray you are encouraged that if God is for us who can be against us.
