Recently I read an article about how lock downs around the world have affected “religious gatherings”. While I so miss meeting with all of you and look forward to doing so again, I am also filled with a profound sense of gratitude. I am so grateful that, as a follower of Christ, I have access to the presence of God, no matter the place.

In Matthew 1:23, Jesus so referred to as ‘Immanuel’, meaning ‘God with us’. When Christ came to earth, He literally became ‘God with us’. He lived among us and showed us the way to the Father. Through His death, He made a way for us to enter the Holy of Holies; the very presence of God.

“Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.”

Hebrews 10:19-22 NIV

How wonderful to know that the God of the Universe desires to meet with us, to have an intimate relationship with us, and has provided  a Way to do so! You don’t have to wait until lock down restrictions are lifted, or the next message is broadcast on Facebook to meet with the Father. Spend time with your Father today. In His presence there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16: 11). Much love to you all. Tonielle
